How to Get Your Young Kid’s Feet on The Soccer Ball Every Day…

…and save the interior of your SUV…

When I drive my 6 and 8 year old girls around in my SUV, I get tired of them putting their feet on the backs of the front seats or on the center console-it gets things dirty and breaks the vents.

It occured to me the other day that the reason they were doing that is because their feet cannot touch the floor of the car when they are sitting in their boosters. This is very uncomfortable for them.

I thought about getting some sort of footstool for them, but that would be a pain to move in and out of the car.

Then it hit me-size 3 or 4 soccer balls would be the perfect height for them to rest their feet on, and easy to remove and throw in the back when we do not need them.

They each get two soccer balls, their feet rest on them while we drive around, as the car moves and we turn corners they sub consciously keep the soccer balls under their feet with little movements they are using that they are not even aware of.

This should continue to develop their proprioception, their comfort with touching the ball while not looking at it and many other benefits I am sure I will think of as we continue to do this.

Almost as importantly-it keeps their feet off of my seats and the center console in my SUV!
